Planning your quote

What do I need before asking Dolly for a quote?

Approximate sizes, a few preferences and your contact details are enough to start the conversation.

You do not need every answer

You can start before you know the name of every handle, hinge or glass option. Choose the nearest product style and use Help me choose where it is offered. A deliberate request for advice is different from leaving a required question unanswered.

The website collects a quotation request, not an online order. No payment is taken, and the finished specification still needs checking.

Have the basics nearby

Choose a product to start and enter your personal details at the first quotation step. Then work through the questions at your own pace.

  • Approximate overall width and height in millimetres.
  • The product or opening style you have in mind.
  • Outside and inside colour preferences, if known.
  • Your postcode and any delivery or access information.

Add context where it helps

A photograph, sketch or window schedule can explain several openings more easily than a long message. Label rooms and show which view your drawing represents. File uploads are temporarily paused; describe what you have in your notes and Dolly will advise how to share it. Avoid unrelated personal information.

If you would rather talk first, Have a word with Dolly lets you send your details, optional information and comments without configuring every product.

Check before you send

Review quantities, room labels, measurements and preferences in the basket. Keep the confirmation reference after submitting. Dolly then checks the product details and prepares the quotation; final manufacturing sizes and fitting arrangements are not established by an approximate online measurement.
