Making it yours

Choosing inside and outside colours

Make the two sides work for your home, with clear requests and realistic screen-colour expectations.

Think about each side separately

The outside finish sits alongside brickwork, render, roofing and neighbouring openings. Inside, consider walls, flooring and the way the frame will look in daylight. You can request different finishes, but the chosen product must support the combination.

Use the picker to describe the request

The colour choices show names and, where available, supplier references. Search the alternative colours rather than trying to identify a shade from its appearance alone. Same as outside links the inside preference to the outside choice; change the outside colour and the matching request should follow it.

A screen is not a sample

Displays, lighting and photography affect how a colour looks. Matt, gloss, metallic and foil finishes can also look different despite a similar colour name. Ask about a suitable physical reference before making a final decision.

Sheerline, Smart and other suppliers have their own finishes. A colour shown as a request is not a claim that it is available for every system, and a window foil is not automatically an external-door option.

Keep the reference with the quote

Check both faces in your preview and summary. If you request a bespoke colour, add its known reference or explain what you want to match. Dolly checks availability and the final finish description before ordering; avoid relying on a screenshot alone.
