French doors or a single glazed door?
Think about the everyday route through the opening and the room needed for hinged leaves.

One leaf or a pair
A single hinged door gives one opening leaf. French doors use a pair, with an active leaf normally opened first and a second leaf released when needed. The arrangement you choose should work for daily use as well as occasional wider access.
Check the space around the opening
Think about steps, paths, furniture and the direction in which the leaves will swing. Mark the preferred active leaf on a sketch viewed from outside looking in. That is more reliable than saying only left or right without a viewpoint.
A low-threshold or easier-access preference is worth recording, but it is not confirmation of the final threshold design or weather performance. Those details must be checked together.
Separate the style from the system
Dolly’s external-door range includes Lifestyle and Prestige French doors and Sheerline Heritage single and French doors. Similar photographs do not establish identical profiles, hinges or locks. Choose the look you like, then compare the actual specifications in the checked quotations.
What to send Dolly
Include approximate overall dimensions, your preferred opening direction and any access concerns. Add inside and outside colour preferences and glazing requirements. Dolly checks the selected system and hardware; your installer confirms the final survey and fitting details.
