Choosing a front door, one decision at a time

Start with Designer or Signature, then work through the design and finishing touches.

Choose a collection and design

The website separates Smart Designer aluminium doors from Smart Signature aluminium composite doors. Pick a collection first, then compare its named designs. The design reference is more useful than a photograph alone when Dolly checks the specification.

Consider light around the door

A glazed design, side panels or a top light can change the appearance of the entrance. A top light is glazing above the entrance—not a rooflight. Layouts and glass choices depend on the selected range and design, so do not assume every surround works with every door.

Choose each side deliberately

Your outside colour can complement the elevation while the inside finish suits the hallway. Use the Outside and Inside buttons to view the same chosen door. The preview is a guide to your choices; physical colour samples and the checked specification are the references for ordering.

Handles, letterplates, knockers and spyholes need compatible positions, finishes and locking arrangements. A catalogue photograph alone is not proof that an accessory fits the selected model.

Leave the final checks to the quotation

Tell Dolly about approximate size, hinge side, access needs and any details you are unsure about. Review the design and preferences in your basket. The quote request does not place an order, and final dimensions and hardware must be confirmed before manufacture.
